Family Camp 2022
WV Ministries is excited to announce a new event for this year - Family Camp 2022

Details are still being developed, but here are some highlights:

Dates: July 1-4, 2022 @ Rippling Waters Campground

The idea behind Family Camp is to allow families to experience a camping experience together with other Church of God families from around the state at a discounted rate. We want to provide a family experience to help strengthen the core family unit. Registration forms will be sent to each church and advertised on social media. A welcome packet will be sent to each family with name tags, schedule options, and more. A camp t-shirt, water bottle, and more may be available at an extra cost.

Tentative thoughts:

Discounts on all aspects of camping and a discounted all-inclusive rate allowing families to participate at a level decided on by each individual family.

Lodging will include rustic cabins, deluxe cabins, tenting, RV, multi-family lodges (one family per sleeping room). Lodging will be decided by families; rates will vary by lodging options.

Meals – meals will be provided or families are free to use take out locally. Meal options examples include build your own tacos, hot dog roast, hamburgers at the pavilion, delivered pizza.

Crafts – examples: tie dye t-shirts, wooden camp signs, rock painting

Activities – families are welcome to fish, kayak, hike, use the playground, corn hole tournament, swimming, biking (bring your own), or explore the local community (Ripley will have its hometown activities including parade and concerts). Evening campfires will include s'more making, Christian movies, devotions, campfire sing-a-longs.
